This sturdy little dwarf tomato produces lustrous, juicy tomatoes striped with yellow, orange and red. It is a lovely candidate for a container as it is both petite and visually striking with its dense foliage and bright colours. Plants grow to about 3 feet and show excellent disease and crack resistance. Determinate and open-pollinated.

TIPS

  • Once tomatoes begin to turn yellow, they will rapily begin ripening to their final red/orange striped colour. You can harvest them yellow as they ripen extremely well off-the-vine.
  • These tomatoes have a long shelf life compared with other heirloom tomatoes. I left a few sitting on the counter as a test and saw no signs of mold or rotting for several weeks!
  • This variety is very straight-growing and sturdy. That said, it will still benefit from staking/caging/trellising as it can become very top-heavy once covered in tomatoes.
  • This is a medium yield heirloom tomato. Canners and market gardeners may want higher yielding varieties (e.g. Gardener's Sweetheart or Druzba, both offered on this website).

Grown organically with love and tenderness in the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, Canada, in the summer of 2025. Germination tested December 2025. Minimum 30 seeds.
