White Scallop Pattypan Squash

Have you tried Pattypan? It tastes, cooks, and grows just like zucchini, but produces little "flying saucer" shaped squash. White scallop is a variety that turns from light green to fully white as it matures; once it is about 5 inches across, it becomes a bit woody. They can be harvested very small for maximum tenderness, or a little larger for a bigger harvest.

Pattypan can be direct seeded 2 weeks after the last frost; just like other squash, it likes to be planted in mounds. 

Grown organically with love and tenderness in the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, Canada, in the summer of 2023. Germination tested. Minimum 30 seeds.
