Mountain Roma Paste Tomato

Mountain Roma is a highly productive, early-ripening paste tomato. It is a determinate variety reaching about 3 or 4 feet tall, requiring a minimum of staking and pruning. A fun fact about heirloom paste varieties is that they are typically bred so that all the tomatoes ripen at roughly the same time so you can efficiently harvest and make a large batch of paste. Try freezing your paste in ice cube trays and popping out a cube at a time to add to soups, sauces, curries, etc.

The seedlings for this variety were passed to me by my friend Ted, because they are his favourite!

Grown organically with love and tenderness in the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, Canada, in the summer of 2023. Germination tested. Quantity, minimum 30 seeds.
