Cascadia Snap Peas, Pisum sativum, are a juicy, thick walled, stringless pea. They are intended for eating fresh and are very sweet, not fibrous or starchy. The roughly two foot tall plants can perform well with minimal staking. Good heat and drought resistance compared with typical cool-and-moisture-loving pea varieties.

Cascadia Snap is an open pollinated variety resulting from a strategic cross of Oregon Sugar Pod and Sugar Snap varieties in 1986. Aside from taste and vigour, plants were heavily selected for resistance to many common diseases. (Source: Baggot, J., Kean, D. "Cascadia Snap Pea", HortScience 28, 1993.)

Grown organically with love and tenderness in the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, Canada, in the summer of 2023. Germination tested. Quantity, 30 peas.
