Blanche du Quebec Tomato

Blanche du Quebec is the best heirloom yellow tomato variety I've come across. The bright yellow fruit are firm and crack-proof. Tomatoes range from golf-ball to tennis-ball size and ripen beautifully on the vine. Produces very hardy seedlings and is a good option if you're trying to grow tomato seedlings for the first time.

This is a compact, determinate variety that reaches about 3 feet tall. Pruning to 2-4 leads and staking is recommended for maximum production. It is a "rugose potato leaf" variety of tomato, meaning simply that it produces unique smooth, ruffled leaves. Quite productive for an heirloom; average length harvest window. Open pollinated.

Grown organically with love and tenderness in the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, Canada, in the summer of 2023. Germination tested. Minimum 30 seeds.
