Black Sesame

Black Sesame is indeed the plant that provides the seeds on top of your bagel. This plant produces one sturdy main stalk covered in leaves and tubular purple flowers, which eventually mature into pods filled with rattling sesame seeds. Sesame can be started indoors before the last frost; be sure to transplant out before it goes into the flowering stage.

Grown organically with love and tenderness in the Bruce Peninsula, Ontario, Canada, in the summer of 2023. Germination tested (70%). Minimum 50 seeds.
